Soccer

           Soccer season is about to begin! I am with Clarkstown team! Soccer Practice starts Monday, September 9. The Special Olympics Rockland League starts at 6pm on Wednesday. Games are at 6pm every Wednesday at North Rockland Soccer Fields in Theills, NY off of Willow Grove Rd. If you are that area please be fan of Special Olympics NY and stop there and cheer us athletes on!! Stay tune for Pictures!

Cycling

 We have a Special Olympics Cycling Coach for Rockland County now! Yes I am starting up a cycling team for Rockland County.  The cycling coach is pretty nice and is willing to work with us. I had a cycling competition on Sept 7th, 2013. It was Special Olympics Hudson Valley Fall Regional games. I did 5k and 15k. My times were for 15k 1 hour 22 min. I had a flat before and during the 15k, but I finish the race.  My time for 5k race was 18 mins.

Golf

       I will playing golf again this year! First, to start my golf practice, I spoke in front of golf players, Monday July 15th. I am excited to practice golf again. I learned how to play golf in Puerto Rico. Than I continued playing with Special Olympics.  Golf Practice start on July 18th. On August 19th, my Rockland Special Olympics golf team went to   Port Washington in Long Island at Harbor Link 9 hole golf course. My partner and I got 62, which we got 1st place.  Next golf touranment is........

Global Messenger

I am a Global Messenger for Special Olympics Virginia and a Global Messenger Special Olympics for New York!  I enjoy spreading the word about Special Olympics and I am working to get more coaches, athletes and volunteers participating. 

I like to talk about Special Olympics  because it's an awesome cause to be in!  I also get to talk about my experiences. I have done many things with Special Olympics. I also like to get people to change their hearts and minds about seeing us with disabilities and to see the challenges we face everyday. My goals are to compete in the Special Olympics World Games and to be an International Global Messenger one day!

Thank you taking the time to read my blog for Special Olympics. Once soccer starts up, I will write about it!!  OOPPSS, I forgot, I will be doing golf too!!

 Now it time for to get ready for offseason now and I am going to train real hard to get ready for soccer.

Summer games

 I got back from Rhode Island with my Team Virginia on June 2nd!!  I got 1st place in the Pentathlon, I got 2nd place in 1k Bike race , also I got 3rd Place in the 5k bike race.

On June 7 to 9, The Hudson valley Pentathlon team went Massachusetts summer games to compete. I got 1st place in the Pentathlon!

On June 14-16, I went to Summer games in Buffalo with the Hudson Valley Region team, I did the Pentathlon and the Turbo Jav. I broke some records too. I got 3rd Place in the Pentathlon and 2nd place in the Turbo jav.

Basketball/Rhode Island!

Last night we won our Basketball Championship Game, the score was 36 to 26!!! We are 1st place in Division one!!!  Today I am going to Rhode Island with my TEAM VA!! I will be competing in track and field and cycling!! I am going my BEST,  Let me win, if I cannot win. Let me be Brave the Attempt!!

Basketball

We just had our last basketball game for the season!! Our record is 8-1!! We play the Championship game  next Wednesday at 6pm.  We are playing in Division 1!! Our team is Clarkstown!! If you live in Rockland County come out support a AWESOME cause!!! Its at West Haverstraw Community Center!! Please come and support us athletes!! I will posting pics once the basketball is over!!!
